Sector Antennas
Sector Antennas
Sector Wi-Fi antennas serve to cover narrower sectors than omnidirectional antennas, usually 30° to 90° in the azimuth plane. The antennas were previously produced with a single-polarized single-polarization, where the polarization was differentiated to Vertical and Horizontal. With the advent of MIMO technology, antennas are two-polarized (H. and V.) and have two RF connectors. In addition to the radiating angle, antennas differ in frequencies in which the antenna operates (2.4GHz and 5GHz), types of RF output connectors, but also antenna gain.
